Bulverde Spring Branch Economic Development Foundation (BSBEDF)
1. About Membership
Membership is a way to support the mission of the Bulverde Spring Branch Economic Development Foundation. Membership does not include goods, services, discounts, advertising, event access, or other benefits at this time.
2. Eligibility
Membership is open to individuals, businesses, and organizations that support the Foundation’s mission and values.
3. Term
Membership runs for 12 months from the date the payment is received unless stated otherwise on the invoice or acknowledgment.
4. Contributions and Payment
- Membership contributions are due at the time of invoicing or sign-up.
- Contributions may be paid by check, card, ACH, or other methods the Foundation accepts.
- The Foundation may update membership levels and contribution amounts at any time.
5. Auto-Renewal
- Membership is set to renew each year automatically unless the member opts out.
- The Foundation will send a renewal notice before the renewal date.
- A member may opt out of auto-renewal at any time by contacting the Foundation in writing.
- If a payment method is on file, the member authorizes the Foundation to charge the payment method on the renewal date for the then-current membership amount, unless the member has opted out.
6. Communications Consent
By joining, the member authorizes the Foundation to contact them about membership, renewals, receipts, events, news, programs, and other Foundation updates using:
- Email
- Phone calls
- Text messages (SMS)
Members may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in emails, replying STOP to text messages, or contacting the Foundation directly. Standard message and data rates may apply.
7. Tax Acknowledgment
Bulverde Spring Branch Economic Development Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. No goods or services are provided in exchange for membership contributions at this time. Members should retain the Foundation’s acknowledgment for their tax records and consult their tax advisor regarding deductibility.
Receipt language to include on invoices and receipts:
“Thank you for your contribution to Bulverde Spring Branch Economic Development Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. No goods or services were provided in exchange for this contribution.”
8. Refunds and Cancellations
- Membership contributions are non-refundable.
- A member may cancel at any time by providing written notice to the Foundation.
- Cancellation ends future renewal, but does not result in a refund.
9. Use of Name and Logo
Members may not use the Foundation’s name or logo in a way that implies endorsement without written permission.
10. Code of Conduct
Members agree to act in a respectful, professional manner in all Foundation-related interactions and activities. The Foundation may decline, suspend, or end membership for conduct that harms the mission, reputation, or operations of the Foundation.
11. Privacy
The Foundation may maintain member contact information for operational purposes (billing, acknowledgments, updates). The Foundation will not sell member information.
12. Changes to Terms
The Foundation may update these terms from time to time. Updated terms will apply to new and renewing members as of the effective date listed below.
